What activities do you participate in to stay active? 

Pickleball, kayaking, swimming, biking, running, paddle board, hiking

IMPACT
How does being active make you feel and why is it important to you? 

I feel so much better when I exercise and a great day for me is to do 3 activities. I have a lot more energy and sleep much better when I am active every day.

SCHEDULING
How do you implement being active into your busy schedule?

A buddy helps as you don’t want to let them down. But I have pretty good self-motivation.

BARRIERS
What barriers have you faced or are you currently facing when it comes to being active? 

None as I have been very fortunate to have time and facilities to remain active.

MOTIVATION
What motivates you to continue to be active? 

I like having energy at the end of the day and exercising gives that back to me.

ROLE MODEL
Do you have a role model and/or would you consider yourself to be a role model to others?

Many role models. I enjoy reading about people who have been active. I am currently reading Grandma Gatewood’s Walk about a grandmother who walked the Appalachian Trail twice.
